Crystal Storage is owned and operated by Crystal Storage Management.
By using our website https://crystal.test-links.com/ or renting a storage unit, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
USE OF THE UNIT AND THE SITE
Customers are responsible for providing their own lock and ensuring their unit is securely locked before leaving the site. Crystal Storage will not take responsibility for goods lost or damaged while loading/unloading or for unsecured goods not kept inside a locked container unit.
Customers may use the unit for storage purposes only and for no other purpose.
Customers may access the site 24/7 unless otherwise notified.
Maximum Weight Limit:
Clients are allowed to store a maximum of 5 tons per container. Exceeding this limit may result in termination of the agreement and additional charges.Most household and business items are suitable for storage. However, the following are strictly prohibited:
Inflammable or combustible materials
Perishable food items
Animals or animal products
Hazardous or dangerous materials (explosives, ammunition, toxic waste, asbestos, chemicals, radioactive materials)
Illegal goods or goods not owned by the customer
Vehicles are permitted on-site only for delivery and collection. Unauthorised vehicles left overnight will be charged £25 per night.
Customers must not attach anything to the walls, ceiling, floor, or doors of the unit. Any damage must be reported immediately via https://crystal.test-links.com/.
Rubbish left outside the storage unit (including roof/top areas) will be disposed of and a minimum charge of £120 will apply.
Customers grant permission for Crystal Storage to break the lock and access the unit in case of emergency or when required by Police, HM Customs, Fire Services, Local Authority, or Court Order.
Electricity (where available) is supplied free for limited use only. Excessive use may result in withdrawal of supply.
Crystal Storage shall not be liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our control (Act of God, fire, flood, strike, power failure, internet failure, etc.).
This agreement grants a personal licence only and does not create a tenancy.
Smoking on site is strictly prohibited.
PAYMENT TERMS
Licence fees are payable monthly in advance.
14 days’ written notice is required for termination by either party.
Payments due on weekends may be taken on the previous Friday.
Fees may be increased with one month’s written notice.
Late payments will incur:
£3 per day late fee
Possible site access restriction
Lock replacement if required
If outstanding amounts remain unpaid for one month, Crystal Storage may:
Provide 7 days’ written notice
Sell stored goods to recover outstanding charges
Dispose of abandoned goods
All overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency and subject to a 15% surcharge plus legal costs.
TERMINATION
14 days’ notice is required by either party.
All goods must be removed at termination.
Units must be left clean and in original condition.
No refunds are provided for discounted long-term rentals if vacated early.
INSURANCE
Crystal Storage does not automatically insure goods.
Storage is at the customer’s sole risk.
Customers must insure goods for full replacement value.
Insurance may be arranged separately.
Liability for loss or damage is limited to £100 unless caused by negligence resulting in injury or death.
“Normal Perils” include fire, flood, theft (forced entry), storm, impact damage, riot, etc.
CUSTOMER DECLARATION
By renting with Crystal Storage (https://crystal.test-links.com/), you confirm:
The goods stored are owned by you or you have legal permission to store them.
You understand Crystal Storage does not inspect or insure goods.
You have inspected and accepted the unit condition at commencement.
If you do not accept these terms, you may withdraw within 24 hours for a full refund.
LEGAL STATUS
Crystal Storage may relocate units within the site if necessary.
This agreement:
Does NOT grant tenancy rights
Does NOT provide exclusive occupation rights
Does NOT create any landlord-tenant relationship
This agreement is governed by English Law.
